Season 4 Masterchef

It is that time again, time for me to cook the same dish over and over.  Time for Shawn to get tired of that dish.  Time to go wait in line for hours to have one bite of that dish tasted.  Time to go through the interviews.  And this time, its time to get my TICKET!

I will be preparing my Coq Au Vin this year.  I will be glad to post the recipe once the tryouts are over, but as not to jynx myself, you will just have to wait.  Sorry guys.

Tryouts are in NYC on October the 5th.  Wish me luck!!!!

Master Chef Is Not Just A Cooking Show

Master Chef has to be one of my favorite food reality shows. It's exciting to watch amateur cooks make food and compete. However, I'm a little skeptical if these were the best cooks that tried out. Watching people cook and the drama that they bring is what makes a good reality show not what makes good food. I would guess if you had a blind taste test, the people making it on the show would be completely different. I'm not saying the contestants on Master Chef can't cook, just that unless you have some great tragedy or obstical that you have overcome than your not making it on the show! Let me know your thoughts!
